If you have made up your mind to start eating healthy, it is really good! Sooner the better is the main objective. Health hazards especially due to lack of rest and wrong diet is posing more problems for people with sedentary habits. There is no way you will need to starve but including healthy foods is absolutely necessary. All of us love a pie or the whipped cream icing but it is up to us to moderate the same. Binging during diets is not a good idea as the whole purpose is lost. Replacing elements in daily food is the easiest way to go for diet changes in life. It will do you no good if you skip meals the whole day and get back home and gorge on the leftover cake. Take care to use medication only under strict supervision in your early trimester. Healthy eating has several benefits and fosters good feelings inside you which are so important during pregnancy. Soups are good and are filling too. Avoiding preservatives is a healthy way for the family too.
The goodness of fruits has to be realized by all growing children. Though they would slurp on canned juices and tetra packs, having a whole fruit of seasonal nature per day will really be beneficial. Apples, grapes, guavas and pineapple are loaded with minerals. Vitamin C based fruits protects children from cold and flu. There is no need to be on a multivitamin, if children get the right source of direct food through raw salads and fruits. Juices are healthy especially for over weight children. It is good to have a jar of carrot juice or a bottle gourd juice ready along with your morning meals. Breakfast is important for all and avoiding the same will increase your weight.

Carbonated foods and sweeteners will need to be replaced. If you have an urge to go for sweets, try to include a fruit based pudding or cake laced with honey or a go very low on the sweetener. Raisins and dates are good to satisfy your sweet tooth. Replacing heavy salad dressings with low fat cheese or using herbs like oregano or pepper is good so that you can avoid the calories in sofa. Go for Olive oil for frying your vegetables. Grilled fish and chicken in the BBQ style is splendid for a party. This serves your low fat menu too.
Cereals and pulses are wholesome foods. Sprouts are a rich source of B complex and proteins. Gaining weight is tough too but you will need to abide by a diet chart from a nutritionist so that eating a particular food may not be done in overdose. Balance is the right method if you want to put on weight so that you can have the best nutrition.
